QUALITY

A quality system aligned with ISO 9001

Geotextile conformity is not something you establish on site. It is built upstream, through incoming inspection, measurement during production and roll-level traceability.

ISO 9001 alignment

Our production, inspection and non-conformity procedures are documented and internally audited against the requirements of ISO 9001.

  • Written procedures for every station on the line
  • Inspection records captured at a defined frequency
  • Formal handling of non-conformities and corrective actions
  • Periodic review of production and quality indicators

Tests run in house

Samples are drawn per production batch. Results govern release of the batch for dispatch.

EN ISO 9864

Mass per unit area

Method
Weighing of specimens cut to a known area, taken across the full width to verify transverse consistency.
Governs
The grade itself. Every other property is quoted against it.
Tolerance
±10%
Frequency
Every production batch

CONTROL POINTS

Where the product is checked

Conformity is not a final inspection. It is a series of checks placed where a fault would otherwise travel unnoticed into the next stage.

  1. 01

    Incoming fibre

    Every lot

Each fibre lot receives a reception number and is checked against the order before it is stored. A non-conforming lot does not reach the line.

  2. 02

    Line inspection

    Twice per shift

A round of the line covering every station from bale opening to winding, recorded against the shift and the inspector who walked it.

  3. 03

    Inline check

    Every fourth roll

Grammage and width are verified at the machine. A roll outside tolerance is held for the laboratory rather than passed on.

  4. 04

    Laboratory test

    Every batch

Samples drawn from the batch are tested to the EN ISO methods above. The results govern whether the batch is released.

  5. 05

    Release

    Every roll

A roll is labelled with its batch number and released for dispatch only once its batch has passed.

Traceable from fibre lot to delivered roll

Every stage records its identifier. The chain can be walked in both directions, from the delivery note back to the incoming fibre lot.

The incoming lot receives a reception number and a conformity check before storage.
