An Algerian geotextile producer
Taltex Geosynthetics manufactures needle-punched non-woven geotextiles at Ain Oussera, in the wilaya of Djelfa. Two continuous production lines, from fibre bale to labelled roll.
How we got here
Algerian public works sites depended for years on imported geotextiles, with long lead times and limited traceability. Taltex was created to produce locally, at a level of control equivalent to European references.
Our industrial choice is mechanical needle punching, with no chemical binder. The technology yields a homogeneous material, easy to lay, whose hydraulic properties stay stable over time.
We work directly with public works contractors, consulting engineers and distributors. Specifications are discussed upfront, on the basis of the function required rather than a catalogue reference.
The Ain Oussera plant
The factory sits in the industrial zone at Ain Oussera, wilaya of Djelfa, on the High Plateaux axis. The position serves northern infrastructure corridors and southern development projects alike.
