Geonet
A geonet is a sheet of crossed ribs forming an open three-dimensional structure. Its porosity carries liquids and gases within the plane of the sheet. Bonded to a geotextile on one or both faces it becomes a drainage geocomposite.

Key features
Open structure
The crossed ribs hold a constant drainage void, even under load.
In-plane drainage
Flow is carried laterally, replacing a substantial thickness of granular drainage material.
Durable material
HDPE resists the chemical agents found in soils and in leachate.
Typical uses
- Landfill blanket drainage
- Gas venting beneath a liner
- Drainage behind a retaining wall
- Slope drainage
